It's been a while since I was in the studio on a regular basis and it feels great! I'm making medium and large bowls for serving dishes, for mixing up a batch of cookies or for displaying fruit (that's what my girlfriend says, anyway). I've also got regular mugs, a custom order of super-sized mugs and by request, demitasse cups for espresso.
At the Farmers Market on Saturday, a couple of people were interested in the demitasse cups for kids'. They are the perfect size! Most everything in this first kiln load is glazed with a glossy raspberry underglaze and a matte green overglaze. The result is a beautiful green-blue-purple-pink rainbow. Get these while you can; I'm mixing up new glazes as we speak!
